What made the stay special was how considerate everyone was, from housekeeping to the front desk, especially Pasquel. Flight delays, cancellations, and lost baggage meant I arrived late. Pasquel was understanding and empathetic, even offering breakfast after the usual time, and was very accommodating. The hotel is handily placed, around nine minutes on foot from both the train station and Piazza Maggiore. Our room was clean and a good size, and I liked having a small outdoor patio.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff were attentive. It's well placed, close to both the train station and the city center. Highly recommended.

For one night, I was charged 90 euros plus taxes, even though Booking showed 34 euros for one person and said only that additional charges might apply. I never imagined the total would jump that much. I got in around 11pm to a cold room, with a tiled floor and no carpet or slippers, so I had to walk barefoot on the cold tiles. The WiFi password was provided, but the connection didn't work at all. There was only shower gel and a shower cap for toiletries. No bar, and nothing else in the room, though I hadn't expected a minibar. The place felt small, depressing, and horribly overpriced. I don't see how it can be rated three stars. Two at most.

The beds were really comfortable, and the room was clean. It's about a 10-minute walk from both the central station and city center, in an old building that's been refurbished recently. The amenities were very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast didn't have many choices, but it covered what you needed for a good start to the day. I'd definitely stay here again.
