The rooms were clean during our weekend in Bologna, and the staff were friendly and always willing to help. Since the property uses self check-in, we were especially impressed by how attentive the host was.

The location makes train travel easy: Bologna Station Suites is right by the station, so arriving with luggage was no hassle, and Piazza Maggiore is about a 15-minute walk away. We stayed two nights at the end of June in a room with a whirlpool tub. The room was clean and quiet despite being in the station area. Self check-in was simple, with the instructions sent ahead of time. We also got a quick reply when we messaged on WhatsApp for information. A handy choice if you're coming or going by train and want to avoid taxis, buses, and other transport.

It might be okay for a single night, but I wouldn't want to stay longer. The station is nearby, and the center is a 20-minute walk away. The room was small and not especially clean, with no wardrobe or shelves. You have to climb makeshift steps to reach the bed, and the ceiling is very close above it. There's a sofa, but you can't sleep on it.

The staff were kind, helpful, and ready to take care of what we needed. The location was also very convenient, across from the train station and a short walk from the city center, restaurants, and bars. We had a wonderful stay in the double room with the whirlpool tub. It was one of the highlights, and the room itself felt welcoming, was extremely clean, and was well maintained. A really positive experience, and I'd happily recommend the property.
