Amendola Apartments

Getting around was easy, with Bologna Centrale just across the road and the main sights within walking distance. Food shops and supermarkets are nearby too. Our room was clean and tidy, renovated inside a historic building, and came with a small daily breakfast and coffee. The staff replied to my messages quickly, even though I never met them in person. I highly recommend it!

For what I paid, this was one of the best places I've stayed. It's right across from the train station and close to the main streets. The place was spotless, comfortable, quiet, and all new, with nice decor. The owner also gave clear directions. I'd definitely recommend it.

There were plenty of cafés and shops close by, and the location was very convenient. Even though the B&B is near the train station, the area stayed quiet and peaceful. Daily housekeeping kept the room spotless, and the whole place was very clean. I had a great, easy stay at Amendola 16 B&B.

Check-in was simple to do ourselves, with clear instructions, and the staff responded quickly by SMS or WhatsApp whenever we needed help. There isn't a reception desk on site. The rooms take up a whole floor in a beautiful residential building, and ours was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially liked the distinctive shower. There's a Nespresso machine, tea, and water, though I wouldn't call the place a traditional B&B. Breakfast was just a small plastic-wrapped pack with four pieces of Zwieback (Brussels Biscuits / double toasted, super dry bread) and a tartlet. For something more substantial, there's a bar downstairs. The name Amendola Central Station fits the location, right by the central station. As in many station districts around the world, the area can feel a little unsafe at night because of some questionable people. We still felt quite safe, but stay alert and keep your eyes open. It's a good, convenient city base if you keep the station surroundings in mind, especially after dark.
