The rooms made the biggest impression on us: huge, with high ceilings and lovely paintings. The building itself is beautiful, and breakfast was great too. It’s right in central Bologna, which made exploring the historic center easy. We’d absolutely recommend this B&B.

If you’re into culture, this is such a lovely place to stay. The rooms are exquisite, the architecture is fascinating, and the host was wonderful. I could keep going about how beautiful it is.

We chose this place for the night before setting off on the Via degli Dei walk to Florence, and its spot in Bologna worked really well. Ilaria was a perfect host, always happy to help. In May, the air conditioning came in handy, though the thick walls also kept the room cool. We had the enormous Cornelia room, with a gorgeous four-poster bed, a separate room with a single bed, and a bathroom. Guests also have a shared dining and sitting room, plus a kitchen where a lovely breakfast was served. The building and rooms are stunning, with generous space, frescoed ceilings, classic decor, and an interesting history. We’d happily stay again.
