The bed was comfortable, and the old town is only a short walk away. The downsides were hard to overlook, though: six bedrooms share one very dated bathroom, and the shower runs out of hot water quickly. There was no breakfast, even though the booking described it as bed and breakfast. Street noise was considerable, though I realize little can be done about that. The place is on the fifth floor, with two extra half-levels before you reach the first floor. The lift is tiny and claustrophobic, or you can take the 132 stairs.

It’s an apartment set up as a hostel, with fairly clean rooms and bathroom. The Wi-Fi was fine for basic browsing, and there was a table of free snacks in the corridor. The location is central, about a five-minute walk from the railway station.

I’m a backpacker and don’t need much, but I wouldn’t return. The place was dirty, there were bedbugs everywhere, and nobody was around. It wasn’t worth a cent. Don’t stay here if you don’t want to end up in the hospital.

We spent three days there without anyone looking after us. On the first day, a girl let us in and said to come back later, but after that there was no one to give us the papers, so we never managed to check in.

We paid for two days, but they didn’t honor our reservation and tried to brush the problem aside. We ended up spending the night on the street. A horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Never again!
