B&B Il Delfino a Bologna

The place was poorly connected to the center, with only two bus lines and long waits. The whole stay felt like a nightmare. Breakfast was very low quality, just packaged supermarket pastries, with no effort to get anything fresh. The walls were paper-thin, so the guest next door was very noisy, and they were allowed to smoke in the common areas. The furniture throughout the house was really bad, and the room’s design and colors were a disastrous mix that made me uncomfortable. Part of the bathroom was being used for storage. The cleaning was awful: before I arrived they’d only done the floor, bed, and tables, and afterward nobody cleaned the room or shared bathroom. The rest of the house wasn’t properly cleaned either. There were even spider webs and a spider on the bedroom ceiling. The worst experience I’ve ever had in Italy.

I paid for this property a month ahead, but my reservation was cancelled just before the trip. When I contacted the owner, I got unfriendly replies. A bad experience with both the owner and the place.

A lovely place to stay, and I highly recommend it. To find it more easily, ask about via Parka when you take bus 14. Nobody seems to know where via Castelmerlo is.

Lovely hosts, and the rooms are beautiful and spacious, with lots of thoughtful detail in the decor.
