The hosts were warm and helpful, and the hilltop setting gives you a lovely view over Bologna, especially after dark. It's a quiet spot away from the city's bustle, yet only about 10 minutes from the center, handy if you're passing through and need a night here.

We loved the morning walk into the woods and breakfast in the garden, and Mrs. Alice was especially attentive. The owners of B&B Monte Donato were kind and friendly, and the elegant paintings in both the room and bathroom showed real taste. Our room and breakfast were lovely for the one night we stayed. The main downside was restaurant noise next door, with kitchen work going on very late. Thanks again.
