B&B Villa Rivabella

Overpriced hostel passing itself off as a B&B. I paid €300+ for three nights, and the room was damp, cold, and mouldy. The walls were so thin I could hear a mouse sneeze three doors away. When I texted management after leaving about these problems, they said I’d somehow caused the damp by “taking a shower.” I thought a shower wouldn’t be an issue when I’d paid for a private bathroom. The photos show no way a three-day stay could have caused that kind of damage. I’m honestly disgusted by how they dealt with it. Save yourself an unpleasant trip and stay somewhere else. They’re upset I didn’t bring it up in person, but they don’t seem to consider that they’d made the place so inhospitable I didn’t feel comfortable raising it. You can’t look at and smell a room like that and think it’s okay to put people in it, then expect them to feel at ease coming to you.

A quiet little sanctuary just outside downtown. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms are well equipped, and there’s a nice shared bathroom.

Really good service, and the bed was very comfortable.
