Just four rooms, and each one has its own character. Mine had a Turkish Bath, which was wonderfully relaxing. The place is charming, quiet, rustic, and nicely located. The food and wines were great too.

The food, wine, rooms, massage therapy, service, and location were all excellent. This lovely spot sits in a beautiful valley among the hills outside Bologna, and the style has a bohemian-chic feel. It’s worth the price, especially for a romantic weekend away. Keep an eye out for Giacomos exciting cocktails. I’d give it more than five stars if I could.

The rooms are nice and breakfast was delicious, but don’t expect the welcome they promise online and in the guest book. The WiFi is terrible, and we didn’t feel very welcomed. I feel sorry for the one person handling breakfast service, who had to make everything to order as well as serve it.

We stayed in the Blue room with its Turkish bath, and it was amazing. It’s special to be up in the hills yet still so close to Bologna, which is a fun city too. The restaurant is good, and it’s a great place to stay.

A very eccentric place in an absolutely beautiful setting. It could have come straight from a Salvador Dali performance or a Garcia Marquez book. There’s definitely nothing ordinary about it.
