The cafe just around the corner served the included breakfast, and Gino the cat came to greet us when we arrived. He likes getting a few pats on the head now and then. The accommodation itself was impeccable and really well located. We booked through booking.com at the last minute, and I think some instructions for entering the building got missed. One quick phone call sorted it out.

The host was so helpful when we got there four hours early: he let us leave our bags and asked the cleaner to get the room ready sooner. He also suggested things to do around town and restaurants. The bed was really comfortable, everything was clean, and the host was warm. It’s about two minutes from Bologna central station and a ten-minute walk to the old town, which worked perfectly for seeing the city and getting to the airport in the morning.

Gino the cat is part of the welcome here! The host was lovely, and the modern apartment has its own garden.
