Our small group needed four rooms, so the hosts put us in a suite with four bedrooms off a shared hallway. Each room had its own bathroom, TV, water, and coffee. They were clean and spacious, and both the air conditioning and shower pressure worked great. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the train station, historic centre, and other sights. This isn’t a traditional hotel with a front desk, but the hosts were quick to reply on WhatsApp and showed up within five minutes of our arrival to let us in. They also gave us some great restaurant recommendations. We could hear street noise sometimes, though it didn’t bother us. Thanks Kristina and Fabio for a great stay!

We had to find somewhere else at short notice after deciding the accommodations we’d booked weren’t good enough. City Central was able to take us in right away. The service was friendly and professional, and the room was pristine. We highly recommend City Central Rooms, especially if you’re coming by train, since it’s an easy walk from Bologna Centrale train station.

We had a lovely four-night stay at the end of January in the deluxe room. There was water, chocolate, and espresso waiting for us when we arrived, and Fabio was a very attentive host. The location made things easy: close to the train station, a short walk from the centre, and an €18 taxi ride to the airport. It was good value, and I’ll definitely stay there again next time I’m in Bologna.
