The location was very central, close to restaurants, museums, and historic sights, and the employees were super nice. The room itself was rather small, though the bed was comfortable. We had our own bathroom, but getting to it meant walking through the shared area, and it had a persistent unexplained smell. Despite the B&B name, there was no breakfast. A fridge held some grapes and a pack of lunch meat, and there was a kettle, but no dishes or mugs. Getting there was difficult: the place is tucked down a back lane on the fifth floor of an apartment block and was near impossible to find. We’d told them in advance that we’d arrive after 8 and that we only speak English. We understood there would be an extra fee for arriving late, but at first nobody was there when we arrived. An employee eventually came after we found the place, but she couldn’t speak English, so it took quite a while to sort things out. All in all, it felt mediocre and somewhat troublesome, though not necessarily more trouble than it was worth.
