Grand Hotel Majestic già Baglioni

We had an amazing dinner at I Carracci. The service was welcoming, and the dishes looked beautiful. At the Grand Hotel Majestic, the service was excellent throughout, with friendly staff always ready to help, and we appreciated the thoughtful little gifts during our stay. The building is a beautiful historic landmark in the city centre, and everything was extremely clean. Our visit felt dreamy and relaxing. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return! :)

We spent our honeymoon at this grand hotel in the middle of historic Bologna, and the staff treated us wonderfully. It feels like a museum, with a hidden Roman road, frescoes, and Christmas decorations they’d just started putting up. The rooms have an old school grandeur, while the bathrooms are fully modern. The concierge suggested several nice restaurants and arranged an exceptional doctor to visit our room. We also ate in the fine dining restaurant, where we could admire the beautiful ceiling fresco. We loved the 'clair obscur' bean pasta, inspired by Italian masters. Breakfast was great, especially the high quality cappuccino, a lovely start to our days in foodie heaven Bologna. Thank you!

The bar’s service is wonderful, and it’s an excellent stop for a glass of fizz before heading off to explore Bologna’s pasta and mortadella. Drinks are a little pricey, as you’d expect. The venue has grand style and sits right in the heart of the city.

The manager said he couldn’t smell the sewer odor when he came into our room, but it was awful. My daughter was awake all night because of people in the room above vomiting. We were still charged full price. At breakfast, staff accused us of bringing in someone from the street. We explained that we had three rooms and that the person was our daughter, but they were very rude. I’d also specifically asked for a driver for five people and a baby. They never arranged a baby car seat.
