Hotel Blumen

Staff were very friendly, but the room and amenities were basic. The pillows were extremely hard and thin, and the main street made it really noisy. Breakfast was very simple too, so don't expect too much.

Breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly. It's centrally located, and parking was free, secure, and available.

I had to arrange the taxi myself at the last minute, which was stressful and completely avoidable. When I asked the front desk to order one, they flat-out refused, with no alternative or effort to help. The staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful. For a hotel that says it offers hospitality, that lack of even basic service was unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you expect a little help with simple requests.

The location worked well for us, near bus stops, within reach of the old town, and not too far from the venue we visited. The stay was positive overall, though there were a few problems. We could hear neighbors shouting and banging things at night, since the rooms are very noisy and sound carries through the walls. Breakfast had almost no vegan options, which was disappointing, and once the room door was left open after cleaning. That really shouldn't happen.
