The beds were springy and comfortable, and there was even a faucet in the room. The water pressure was a little low, but it did the job. There are three separate bathrooms at the end of the hall, so there's plenty of space, though you might have to wait a little in the evening. The hotel has a cute old-fashioned feel, with a very old elevator up to the fourth floor. The cleaning staff were really friendly and helpful; they didn't speak English but tried to communicate with gestures. Reception was welcoming too, and they provided a small, nice breakfast in the reception area the next morning. Overall a good experience, definitely recommended.

I had low expectations because this is a 1-star property, but the cleanliness was great and they also provide free breakfast. The location is right in the middle of everything in Bologna. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the woman at reception was especially polite and welcoming. Amazing hotel for the location, highly recommend.

The location is perfect for seeing the city. Our room was large and clean, and the three shared bathrooms were clean too.

The rooms are very clean and smell nice, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is small but included. The downside is how much you hear through the thin walls, and the mattresses have noticeable springs, so the beds are kind of uncomfortable. If you're looking for that at a decent price, this is your place.
