The location and check-in were fine, but getting any rest was another matter. The walls are extremely thin, and twice I could hear another couple having very loud, explicit intimate moments. It felt like being an unwilling audience to a live adult show. I know the owner can’t control what guests do, but the soundproofing or house rules need attention. I booked a room for myself, paid to sleep, and ended up waking to someone else’s private show. I respect people’s privacy, but I also needed rest. Until the noise is addressed, I can’t recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful night.

I gave them my IBAN and all the details they requested, but the promised refund never arrived. After several phone calls and WhatsApp messages, they kept saying it was in progress and putting it off with excuses for more than a week. They came across as kind while buying time, but didn’t follow through. This is not how a serious business should treat clients. Be careful booking here: they don’t keep agreements, waste your time, and show no professionalism. I strongly advise people to avoid this place.

I stayed at Le Stanze dell’Edera in October, and when a problem came up, the host said I’d be refunded. I sent all the requested details and received several written confirmations, but the money never came, just more delays and excuses. I’ve already reported it to Booking.com Customer Service and provided the full proof of our conversation. I’m posting this so other travelers know to keep all communication on the Booking platform.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized, and I was very happy with my stay. Thanks for the warm hospitality.

The location is convenient and the space has potential, but the way our problem was dealt with left a bad impression. The bed completely broke during our stay, making the room unusable, and the only offer was a partial refund. I understand things can go wrong, but I expected more accountability and better customer service. I wouldn’t return or recommend Stanze dell’Edera after this experience.
