Locanda Fourghetti

I didn't like the place. It was very small, the attention was poor, and the service was terrible. :(

The traditional style was lovely, down to the elegant blankets, and the property itself was beautiful. My room had its own bathroom, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was well laid out, with plenty of snacks, fruit juice, and espresso. The hostess was incredibly kind and attentive, explained everything carefully, and made me feel at home. Highly recommended.

I never actually set foot in the place, so this is about the booking experience. I’d reserved it for a business trip and had told them two days ahead that I’d arrive in the late afternoon. My course was due to finish at 6:30 PM, before a company dinner at 8:30 PM, and I needed time to shower, change, and rest. At booking, check-in was listed as available from 5 to 10 PM. Around 2:30 PM, the owner texted to say she couldn’t host me between 5:45 and 8:30 PM. After several tries I reached her, but she said she had no solution. When I objected, she hung up, saying, "It's better if he doesn't come, at least I'll take my time." Booking.com told me the refund was up to the owner. Since she didn’t contact me again from 3 to 7 PM and I was worried I’d be left without a room for the night, I booked somewhere else. At 7 PM she said she was "available to welcome me," then refused the refund. It was a really unpleasant experience that cost me money. The owner was rude and completely unprofessional.

Each cozy room has its own bathroom, and the owner is very kind and quite chatty. It’s a clean, welcoming B&B in a quiet area with good services nearby: bars, takeaways, a supermarket, and an ATM are just steps away. Breakfast and hot water are provided. A good option for a couple of days or a longer stay.
