Montebello 7 3 in Bologna

I was due to stay at this hotel on 25-26 March, but my trip to Bologna became impossible after disruptions caused by tensions and conflict in the UAE/GCC region. Emirates Airlines suspended the Bologna-Dubai route until further notice and rerouted my return flight to Rome. I sent official evidence from Emirates confirming the suspension. I knew the free cancellation period had ended, but I politely asked the hotel to make a one-time exception because these circumstances were outside my control. The request was declined, and what upset me most was getting no communication about it. I tried several times through Booking.com chat, by phone, WhatsApp, and email, but there was no response or discussion, just the refusal without an explanation. I understand that policies exist, but basic communication matters, especially when a traveler has no control over the situation. I'm sharing my experience honestly, and I still hope management will review it and contact me. I would appreciate the chance for a fair, understanding solution.
