The staff were very friendly, and for what it costs, I found the stay more than adequate. The location is ideal, very close to the city center, and it's one of the better-priced options. The walls are thin and you can hear everything, though that didn't bother me. There were some problems: the locks didn't work properly, the older window frames let in drafts through the gaps, and the sheets didn't look very clean. We found hair under the pillows. If I come back to Bologna, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

The location near the city center was the only good thing about the room. For the price, everything else was poor. The room door didn't shut properly and felt as if it hadn't fully closed. The outlet by the bedside table was broken, so I had to charge my phone on the floor by a different outlet near the door. The shower wasn't clean enough for us to use. At night, noise from the bathroom shared with the other two rooms kept disturbing our sleep. I texted the person who checked us in about it yesterday, just after checkout, and didn't even get an apology.

The owner was kind and the staff were helpful, but I was really disappointed, and I'm sorry this is my first one-star review. The rooms are in a beautiful building close to the Towers, but there were several problems. At night it was so dark that you needed a flashlight to put the keys into the old locks. The elevator was almost useless because the rooms are on floor 0.5, halfway between the ground and first floors. The apartment, shared with two other rooms and a bathroom, had a faulty lock that was hard to open. Getting out meant using a key in the dark, which felt difficult and, to me, dangerous. The room lock was broken and the door stayed open even when locked, so it felt like staying in a hostel where I had to keep my valuables with me, on top of sharing the bathroom. Paying for this level of service was unacceptable. The owner couldn't offer a solution beyond a refund, which was pointless since we had no other options. I would have appreciated a discount.
