MyRoom CenterStation

We had plenty of space, and the WiFi and air conditioning both worked. But over our three nights, we never saw the owner. Other guests let us into the house. The bathrooms are shared, and some of them apparently can’t be locked, which felt odd. There wasn’t even a bin in the bathroom.

The WiFi didn’t exist, the TV didn’t work, and the air conditioner had no remote, even though all three were listed as available. The shared bathroom was also clogged at the bathtub, not very clean even after the cleaner had been, and had no bin, so people had to leave rubbish in strange places. Check-in was a long wait because the owner wasn’t home, and the information we got while waiting wasn’t reassuring or clear. When he finally arrived, he was rude and unprofessional, and didn’t show us around or explain anything about the house.

For the price, this single room is hard to beat, especially with Bologna Centrale just a five-minute walk away. The room and bathroom were spotless. The furnishings are pretty basic, though there was a TV screen and the WiFi was stable.

I asked about air conditioning in the room, but got no reply. They gave us an air blower instead. It was 38 degrees outside and 34 in the room. Don’t go there!
