We were disheartened by the lack of compassion and support when the establishment could see the difficulties we were facing. The staff neither apologized nor helped us reach the accommodation or find a suitable alternative. They offered a refund only if we left immediately, which wasn't possible after the exhausting climb, or a minimal discount on the accommodation. That missed the point for us. An apology and quick, effective help would have mattered. We had emailed about access for a disabled woman in our group and were reassured because there was an elevator, as though that alone were enough. In practice, there were numerous steps at the entrance, before the elevator, along the corridor, and even inside the apartment. The stay was difficult and frustrating. After managing the climb, we could at least "enjoy" Bologna from the shared terrace on our floor, where we were stuck for all three days. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with mobility issues or substantial luggage, since a pleasant vacation could become a nightmare. Given how management handled the problem, and the negative attitude that came through in our many exchanges, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The staff were great, pleasant, and helpful. It was a good-sized, clean, tidy apartment with everything a family needs: a fully equipped kitchen, even sugar, salt, tea, and coffee; toiletries and towels; and a shower and washing machine with detergent provided. The bedroom was cosy, the modern furniture came with enough storage, and there were air conditioning and ironing equipment too. It's very close to the central square and shopping area. We also loved the terrace, with its view, flowers, and comfortable chairs.

We booked through the studio's website and got free breakfast, with vouchers for the nearby café Gil & Bert. Communication was good, and the welcome was warm. The key has to be picked up at their office at Via Marsala 8. The flat is in a great location and could easily host a family of four. It was very clean, with two bathrooms and a washing machine. There's also a shared rooftop terrace with a nice view.

It was good value, with a large, very clean apartment in a handy spot. The historic centre was an easy walk away, and the shopping strip was close by. My main issue was the noise and lack of privacy. My apartment was near the shared terrace, where guests gathered at night, and I could also hear people in their apartments. The walls are thin, which made it hard to sleep.
