Our room looked out over Bologna, and it was cozy. The building and apartment have a beautiful, playful architectural style. The staff were super friendly and gave us useful, honest tips on places to visit and eat. For the main sights and good restaurants, the location was hard to beat. Nothing was more than a 20 minutes' walk away.

Our host gave us a long list of great spots for pasta and ice cream, and we had a lovely view across Bologna's rooftops. Staying in the lively student district meant we could walk to the sights as well as loads of cafes, restaurants and bars. It's a fantastic, very central place to stay, and we'd definitely come back.

Alba made our visit special, suggesting a restaurant and places to see around town. The bathroom was very clean, and we appreciated having cold bottled water when it was 30+ degrees. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated in a beautiful building. Breakfast was the best we had on our trip, with homemade cake, cheese, fresh fruit, muesli, coffee and pastries. Highly recommend!

The house is gorgeous and has beautiful views, and Alba was an absolute delight. We didn't have cell service, so we missed the message she sent and struggled at first to find our way in. Go through the big iron gate, then take the elevator up to the 2nd floor. Just a heads-up, breakfast isn't provided, though that wasn't a big deal for us.

It's run by a family and sits in the university area, where there are plenty of good, inexpensive restaurants. The room was comfortable and had a great view across the city. It took some effort to find the place, but it was worth it. I'd book again.
