Breakfast wasn't served on site. They gave us vouchers for a shop about 500m away. This is a small apartment converted into a hotel, and the walls are so thin we could hear the neighbors talking. There was a little dust here and there. The face towel was on a dusty radiator, though the rest was relatively clean. When we arrived, the front door wouldn't work. We waited too long for the manager to come and open it, but thankfully a resident let us in after about five minutes. The pillows were made of elastic foam that bounced our heads around, and the bed wasn't flat.

I booked for an exhibition in Bologna, then they canceled a week later, saying there had apparently been an overbooking. But when I checked those dates, the room still showed as available, just €100 more per night. If you need a reliable hotel, I'd definitely avoid this place.

My paid reservation through Booking.com was canceled on the very same day, supposedly because of a COVID case. It happened to be a day when Bologna prices were sky-high for a soccer game, with no rooms under 500€. Booking.com said the cancellation was due to overbooking, which seemed very suspicious. Calls went unanswered, and at some point they blocked my number. Avoid.

They cancelled our booking on the very day we were due to arrive with our one-year-old. Having to rearrange everything at the last minute was a really bad experience.
