Quiet, cosy, clean and safe, it felt like a real home for our city break. Piazza Maggiore and Bologna’s historic centre are just around the corner.

The room was cold in February, the towels were dark grey, and the host was rude.

This place is in the heart of Bologna, with cafes, shops and sights close by. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the station, and contactless check-in was easy. The bathroom is spacious, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and there’s a fridge, stove, hair dryer, dishwasher and coffee maker. Communication with the host was quick and pleasant, and he was helpful whenever I had a question. One thing to know is that the apartment faces the street, with another building across from the window and a cafe downstairs. It can feel dark, and you may hear some restaurant noise in the evening. That didn’t spoil my trip, though it could matter to other guests. Thanks very much!

I stayed four nights to visit my daughter, and found the apartment spotless, with comfortable beds, a great shower, a washing machine and everything else I could need. Marco was quick to communicate, sent clear instructions ahead of time, and made self-check-in easy. Since my flight was late, I could leave my luggage elsewhere in the building on the last day. Being right by Piazza Maggiore was a treat, especially around Christmas, when we could enjoy the square’s lively evenings and events. Fantastic location and good value. Highly recommend it, and thanks to Marco for the hospitality.
