B&B Hotel Bolzano

I was here for one night on a business trip. Check-in went smoothly, and my room was tidy and very clean. The Wi-Fi was fast and steady. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and there's a little snack shop in the lobby with sweet and savory snacks, drinks, water, coffee, and tea. I highly recommend it.

Getting around by car is more convenient, since the hotel is a bit far from the main station. We stayed December 29 to 30, and although we'd booked and paid for four rooms through Trip.com, an error on its website meant the hotel only showed two. With it being peak season, we couldn't find another room or switch hotels. One staff member managed to arrange an extra room, and we were so grateful. Everyone was kind and friendly throughout, even offering us coffee though breakfast wasn't included in our booking.

The morning woman was very kind, which is the one star. The night clerk, Danile/Daniel?, working New Year's Day, made us feel unwelcome after our exhausting Thursday night journey from Los Angeles to Milan, arriving very late on 1/1/26. We had clearly booked for two on Booking.com, but he insisted the tiny room was for one and kept trying to charge us for another person. It had already cost $160, more than larger rooms we'd had in NYC. He also tried to charge us twice for breakfast. We used the room for at most six hours. The place is nowhere near the train station as the website claims, so we spent a fortune on a taxi. The bed left our backs hurting, and there was only one pillow, if you can call it that, probably from IKEA. The whole thing was a waste of money and time. I was shocked to learn it was French owned from Brittany, and the tactics felt shady. The reviews here seem to be from people traveling by car. If you're American, don't book here. Never again. If you're desperate and have no other option, stay, I guess.

Rooms at B&B Hotel Bolzano were clean, modern, and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around both the city and nearby areas. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the value for money was excellent. Great experience, highly recommend!
