Bozenapartments Garibaldi

The location was good, but our stay had some real problems. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the host didn’t know what was wrong or seem willing to sort it out. There was a strong paint and chemical smell inside, especially on the room floor, which seemed to have been repainted. It was sticky enough that our shoes stuck to it. We were traveling with our 7-month-old and had asked ahead for a crib, but the one we got was the one shown in the photo... haha.

The apartment itself is lovely, clean, and practical, even with five people, and it gets quiet in the evening. It’s right by the train station, so there’s a kebab place and a bar downstairs, which can get pretty crowded in the afternoon.

The apartment is functional and only a few meters from the station, in a building with residents from various countries. We got there around 1:30 p.m. and waited for someone to bring the keys. The cleaning lady didn’t arrive until after 2:00, and she still needed to tidy the place, so we had to go out while she cleaned instead of showering or relaxing after the trip. When we came back, the beds and bathroom were in order, but the floor still had dirt marks and crumbs from previous guests. For €160 for one night for two adults and a child, I expected much better service.

The outside looks a bit run-down, but the interior is really nice.
