The room was very clean and the mattress comfortable, and the staff were welcoming. The location was great too, with a nice restaurant and outdoor cafe. Still, there were a few things that put me off. The pillows were lumpy, and the walls are thin, so you hear people coming and going, especially on the second floor by the stairs and restaurant. The decor is dated, despite what the first Google photos suggest, so be prepared for a bit of a catfish. Staff also came into our room without knocking while my partner and I were in bed right by the door. I probably wouldn’t stay again if I had another option, though it was good enough for one night or if you’re in a pinch.

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is very close to the piazza. I also liked that tall bushes and trees partly screen the front of the building. Our room was spacious, no frills, and very clean, with a comfortable bed and the Scandinavian setup of two twin duvets. Breakfast was a lovely buffet, with decent gluten-free and dairy-free choices like hard-boiled eggs, some meats, fruit, and vegetables.

The room was clean, but it didn’t feel suitable to use as a guest room. It might work better as commercial space. The view from the window was just a wall close in front of it, so the room felt dark and boxed in. Noise from the kitchen below and other parts of the property made it hard to rest. The AC wasn’t working properly, and there was no fresh air coming in from outside. Opening the window didn’t help because it was too noisy.

Great value right in the heart of Bolzano. The service was fantastic, and the basic rooms have comfy beds. It’s all you need.

The rooms are enormous by any standard, and you’re right in the city center. The front desk was super friendly and relaxed. It can be noisy at night, though it dies down by midnight. The rooms are a little dated, but for this price and location, it can’t be beat.
