Loom Hotel

The breakfast was basic, but everything served was tasty and high quality. The hotel is a little outside the city center, though parking is easy right in front and the bus stop is a 10 minute walk away. The area is industrial, but it never felt loud or dodgy, even at night. Rooms are modern and cosy, and the air conditioning is powerful. I'd definitely go back.

We chose this hotel because of the positive reviews, so we feel we should add our experience. We were welcomed nicely, the rooms were clean, breakfast was really nice, and the owner or manager brought us a fridge when we found there wasn't one. They also offered us bicycles. The setting was a big disappointment. It's an active industrial estate, with trucks making noise all night. It felt unsafe, like sleeping at a motorway service station, and the view was depressing. We couldn't leave the window open because of the noise. Inside, there was mold above one window, no safe, just one switch for all the lights, and very uncomfortable beds. There were four of us, and we're tall, but we've never had trouble with beds elsewhere. None of us slept. We booked two nights at the last minute and asked to leave early because we couldn't face another night without sleep. At first they seemed understanding, and we thought they'd offered a reduction for the bad night. It turned out to be only a cappuccino. The conversation ended in an argument, and the owner or manager refused to shake my husband's hand. We travel a lot and have never had that happen. We wanted to try somewhere new in Bolzano and trusted the reviews, but can't recommend this place. It also wasn't good value. Three star hotels in a beautiful part of Bolzano's old town cost around 20% or more less.

The industrial decor is wonderful, and the rooms are spacious, modern, and beautifully done. The owner was friendly, open, and helpful too. We were really pleasantly surprised by the hotel, and would definitely stay again when we're in Bolzano.

The design is wild, the room was great, and breakfast was wonderful. The crew were great too, especially Lilly! We loved our stay. Best hotel in Bolzano, highly recommend.
