Getting there through the beautiful surroundings and apple orchards was a treat. We only stayed two nights, but enjoyed the property so much. The kitchen was nice and fully equipped, with a dishwasher and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Worth every penny. I don’t have words for how beautiful the place is.

Set among the Dolomites in South Tyrol, the Mirror Houses are a pair of strikingly modern, high-end luxury vacation homes. Their contemporary architecture makes a spectacular backdrop to the marvelous landscape just outside Bolzano.

We had a relaxing, wonderful week as four people, booking both houses so the outdoor area was all ours. The setting was breathtaking, surrounded by mountains and apple orchards, and we could see the stars from bed. Check-in and communication were simple. We could prepare our own meals easily, since the kitchen and pool bar had plenty of dishes. The towels were changed midway through the stay, laundry was available, and the pool was cleaned every two days. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly, the last morning left a bad impression. At 9:15, while we still had until 11:00 to check out, the owner arrived without warning and kept accusing us of taking food from the pool bar fridge without recording it. We hadn’t taken anything and had already told her that. She was very unfriendly and not hospitable at all. Such a shame.
