Stadt Hotel Citta

The staff were lovely and accommodating. They looked after my luggage after checkout on my last day, and quickly helped update my booking when my dates changed. The rooms were big and clean, and breakfast was complete and very good. A perfect stay in Bolzano. I’ll be back!

Giulia and Samuel were especially helpful, friendly, and warm. We were driving around trying to find the hotel and didn’t know where the nearest garage was, so I really appreciated their help. Getting there by car: parking is €22 per night at Parking garage Walther. Go into Tunnel Walther, pass the first exit on the right, and continue straight to the second one, “Parcheggio Piazza Walther.” That takes you to the Stadt Hotel basement. There’s a lift up to reception and, after check-in, to the rooms. We had a wonderful stay and were very happy with our choice after looking at a few other hotels. The location couldn’t be better. The room was on the small side, and access to the shower was tight, but neither bothered us. It was a historic, cosy room with a very comfortable bed. Housekeeping was superb, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We also loved the beautiful breakfast room. The food was the typical sort of breakfast that would feel familiar to most Europeans.

We left a book at reception as a small gift for the polite waiter from Bangladesh, and would be very grateful if it could be passed on to him. Over our three dinners, we got to talk with him and thought he was very intelligent, with a bright future ahead. We’d come from Australia and spent a few days in beautiful Bolzano at Stadt Hotel Città. The hotel was lovely, and everyone was very friendly. Thank you very much.
