The family who own and run the B&B were so kind and made us feel welcome. My boyfriend and I stayed two nights in June of 2022 and had an excellent time. Breakfast was great, and don't miss the restaurant. I still think about the delicious green pepper sauce on the steak. A real gem. We hope to return as soon as we can!

The restaurant was the highlight, with the best dinner of our stay in Italy. The tortellini with truffle is my strong recommendation, homemade pasta at an unbeatable price. The family was extremely polite and friendly, and everything was very clean. Forza Eliseo, don’t change anything!

The village is terribly quaint and the prices are reasonable, but I wouldn't drive more than 5km to eat here. We came a long way because of good reviews and food blog mentions, only to get exceedingly dull spaghetti bolognese that tasted like it might have come from a can. A humming, grumpy server dictated where we had to sit, regardless of our preference. The food was passable at best, with little care or passion in the preparation or ingredients, and it misrepresents wonderful Tuscan cuisine. There are much better options nearby, as my other reviews in the area show. I first gave it 2 stars, but after the owner's replies I lowered it to 1. Elena answered this fair, honest review with, “I wish you never encounter people like yourself in your own life.” The owners' responses show no desire to make up for a bad customer experience, and the coldness seems to come from the top. Elena should focus on the food coming out of the kitchen, find the missing passion and love, or maybe sell the business to someone younger. What a shame.

We woke up well rested every morning in the very comfy beds, and breakfast was great each day. The hosts, Debbie, Mario and Elena, gave excellent service. The food and ambience were amazing. The homemade cooking was full of flavour and cooked perfectly, and the Tortelloni Scorzone was the best homemade pasta ever.

We always try to eat at this lovely, friendly restaurant when we're visiting. The owners are very helpful and will try to speak English if you need it. There's plenty of vegetarian choice, and the steak with balsamic vinegar is excellent. They make fantastic homemade limoncello for after dinner. If you order the local wine "vino casa", you're charged for however much of the bottle you drink.
