Adler Spa Resort Sicilia

The hotel could use more sun beds, but everything else about my stay felt magical. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the meals were fresh, delicious, and full of Sicilian flavors. I loved the calm of the hills, whether I was walking around or relaxing by the pool. The green landscape and charming buildings really do feel like a real-life Hobbiton, and the rooms have earthy details and lovely views. Can’t wait to return.

The beachside jacuzzi and incredible meals were highlights. Everything else seemed just as carefully done, from the activities and exercise classes to the rooms, staff, and facilities. The hotel sits on a gorgeous sandy beach, and every part of it is beautifully designed with a view. There’s a warm, friendly feel to all the little indulgences. Whatever the weather, you can stay active or just relax. The setting is stunning.

We’re here for a nine-night stay, and we’ve visited other Adler resorts before, where everything was great. This one has been a joke. Since the first day, I and other guests have complained, but management doesn’t seem to care. After using the sauna, there’s nowhere to cool down properly. The glass relaxation room has no air conditioning, and it’s 37 degrees outside, so it’s even hotter in there. There’s no cold shower, only a bucket of cold water with bees and flies in it. I’m concerned this is hazardous to your health. The spa manager brushed off the issue by saying sometimes things happen. That’s not an acceptable response when you’re paying 1000 euros a night. It’s such a shame for a brand we loved.

We had a magical stay and I’ll definitely come back. The sunsets and views were breathtaking, and having a private beach made the place feel like paradise. The staff were so hospitable and made the trip memorable. Our room was comfortable, with a modern feel, and the pool and spa were wonderful places to unwind.
