Stiegl Scala Hotel

Our room was small, facing an alley, with a little window so close to the building opposite that we never opened the curtain. I asked to change rooms, but they refused and weren't nice about it. The reception lady wasn't helpful when we arrived, and acted as though my questions were a bother. I wouldn't recommend this hotel in Bozen. There are much better places for the price. I'll attach a picture of the broken lamp and the view from our window.

The pool and food were both lovely, and the room had plenty of space, plus a desk, sofa, and balcony. We’d been searching for an apartment in Bolzano because we wanted more than somewhere just to sleep, but this hotel gave us everything we’d hoped for. I couldn’t have asked for more.

We stay in Bolzano often, and Scala Stieg Hotel is among the best we’ve found here. The staff were consistently courteous and helpful, and the hotel was spotless with really good service. It’s also well placed for getting around, whether you’re here for work or heading off to the mountains. The price felt fair for the quality, making it a good-value base for either kind of trip.

After three weeks in Italy, this hotel was our favorite place. My wife and I loved the breakfast, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and so nice. Parking felt very safe, the location worked brilliantly for us, and our room was kept tidy and clean. When I’m back in Bolzano, we’ll be coming here again.
