The mountains and grape vines made a beautiful view, and there was a lovely dog. The guesthouse was pleasant, with really friendly hosts and a beautiful pool. It's a 20-minute walk into town, or you can take bus number 8. From the city, public transport makes it easy to get up to the Dolomites.

The location was good, and the WiFi worked okay. But the bed smelled bad, possibly of dried pee, and breakfast was very poor. There was no bar soap, shower gel, or hair dryer. The owner was very talkative and quite rude, and ruined breakfast for us every day.

We only stayed one night, but had a great time. The host was very nice and friendly, and our room had a wonderful view of the mountains.

We had to cancel our room the day before because of a hospital situation, past the booking deadline. The owner assured us we'd get at least 50% of the room cost back, but after about ten calls, nothing came through. The bank transfer never arrived. Given the reviews, I didn't expect that attitude. Never again. Places like this damage the reputation of people who've always done this work with care and dedication.

We'd booked a double room, but on arrival he took us to a small apartment, saying the window was broken. Inside, it was filthy and dusty, with cobwebs everywhere, dirt on the pillows, and hair in the shower and on the mattress. It felt like an abandoned house that hadn't been cleaned in months.
