The lunch was well worth waiting for. The sign said noon, but they actually opened at 12:30. Antonio was kind and helpful, and the food was delicious. We were touring the area and stopped here to eat rather than stay at the resort. We even took a bottle of wine back to our resort in another town.

We live in southern Italy for five months each year and often eat at La locanda. We don't stay there, we go for the local cuisine. Their beef tagliata is the best we've found in Italy.

The pasta with gorgonzola and speck was amazing, and the antipasto plate was fresh with plenty of variety. Don't miss this sweet little restaurant if you're after a truly authentic Italian meal. What a lovely place to eat.

Along the medieval walls of Bonefro, there's a tiny spot tucked away. The staff gave us a warm, friendly welcome. The beef cuts were very good with rucola, and the homemade gnocchi and house wine were good too.

Bonefro is a lovely place to visit, and the rooms are very comfortable. Antonio and the team made us feel welcome. The food is simple and fabulous.
