Il Sartù

Marisa was warm and always there when we needed her, while still giving us our space. We spent a week at Sartu' and found the house comfortable and well cared for. The big garden has a private pool and plenty of room for our dogs to play. We’d gladly come back!

We came for quiet, nature, and a bit of solitude, and that’s exactly what we found. There’s no luxury, but we didn’t miss anything: the simple, stylish furniture, spacious beds, and well-equipped kitchen all worked well for us. The apartment is basically one large room, with fabric curtains separating the kitchen and living space from two bedrooms. It’s on the first floor, with a terrace wrapping around three sides and lovely views. We had the large indoor pool in the building to ourselves, and parking was right beside it. The location worked well for exploring the Barolo wine area, Alba, medieval towns, and the surrounding scenery. The sea is about 70 km away. The owner lives in the house. She’s a pleasant, kind woman who speaks Italian. We had fun communicating and always managed to understand each other.

I loved how beautiful and peaceful it was.

A peaceful spot and a lovely welcome.
