Tra Sole E Mare

We rent the whole house whenever we visit relatives in Bordighera. We’re a large family, and it works well for us. There’s a beautiful garden, a lovely private pool, and a fantastic view.

We had a wonderful weekend at this B&B. Emma was gracious, kind, and very helpful. The property is gorgeous, welcoming, spotless, and well cared for, with a magnificent sea view. It’s also very convenient to reach from the highway. We’ll be back for a few relaxing days and will recommend it to our friends.

The garden was very pleasant, and the location and view over the pool were lovely. There’s a large, convenient parking lot, although it might benefit from better lighting at night. Even so, we left disappointed and don’t want to repeat the experience. We stayed in the apartment, and perhaps the rooms are better. The furniture felt dated, and the bed sagged and creaked so badly that we couldn’t sleep. There was a musty smell, plus an unbearable stench that turned out to come from the garbage disposal. Check-in was disorganized: although we’d given our arrival time and it was within the check-in window, nobody was there. We had to follow WhatsApp instructions, get the keys from the mailbox, and use our phone to find the apartment.

A big thank you to Irina for being so kind, even with the language barrier. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, and the large parking lot made parking easy. The villa is lovely, with a splendid view from the heights of Bordhighera. It’s perfect if you’re after peace and quiet, though it’s a bit out of the way if you like to do everything on foot.
