For the price, it’s a good deal, though breakfast costs extra. Getting there by car is a bit tricky because the road is very narrow. I was disappointed that the pool was still empty when I arrived at the end of May, since the place is advertised as having one.

A lovely spot for a countryside break. The couple running it are really friendly and accommodating, and I’d happily recommend it.

The rooms are roomy, clean, and well looked after, with housekeeping every day. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Set among the greenery and horses of Visconti Park, it’s a peaceful place for relaxing or going for nature walks, while still convenient to town and close to Pavia. There’s also a pool, and the stay is excellent value for money.

The hostess was so kind, and the horses on the farm were gorgeous. I came across this B&B by chance during a business trip and found a charming, pastoral little corner of the Lombardy countryside, with hares hopping around. My room was spacious and the bathroom very well kept. The road there wasn’t great, but it was manageable. I’d recommend it.
