I love this place. Even though I don't speak any Italian, the staff are so friendly and make me feel at home. My friends and I are always talking about it when we're back in Canada, wishing we could return.

The owner was so gracious and kind to us Americans who don't speak Italian. While the locals were wrapping up their family-style lunch, she served us cold beers. Then we were shown to the dining room, with magnificent views and fresh food that tasted excellent.

We stopped in out of the heat just looking for somewhere to eat, and stumbled on a treasure. The food and service were both just great.

Lovely surroundings, friendly staff, and excellent traditional food. I'd strongly recommend stopping by if you're visiting Mel.

This historic place sits near everything, and it's a great spot for a weekend, a walk, and a look around the little town. The hotel is on the mark of the square, in an ancient building, and gives you the chance to step back into history.
