The location was the one good thing. Everything else was awful, and I’d never book this apartment again. We were allowed to leave our bags before the cleaning was finished, and were told the place would be thoroughly cleaned. When we came back to check in, that clearly hadn’t happened. A foul sewage smell filled the apartment. We couldn’t get rid of it, and the second bathroom was impossible to enter without gagging. The apartment was dusty and dirty throughout. There were bloodstains, hair, and bugs on the bed and in the bathroom, and even the toilets hadn’t been cleaned. There were four of us but only one towel each, and the towels were still wet when we tried to use them. It was extremely cold, and we only had a thin cover. The duvet was dirty and looked like it hadn’t been washed, so we wouldn’t use it because we were worried about getting sick. The next day, all of us had colds. We tried several times to reach someone for fresh towels and cleaning supplies. We would even have cleaned the place ourselves. When we finally got through, someone promised to bring everything, but we got just two towels, dirty again and not enough for four people, and no cleaning supplies. Nobody seemed to care about what we needed. It felt like all that mattered was getting our money.
