The location is perfect: the Acquafraggia waterfalls are just steps away, and a magnificent bike path runs to Chiavenna and beyond. Saint Moritz is a stunning 45-minute drive over the Maloja Pass. Traditional Crotti restaurants are also nearby for local dishes. It's a peaceful little love nest, ideal for a relaxing weekend surrounded by nature, with room for walks, sports, and good food. The accommodation is on two floors. The small but comfortable bedroom is upstairs; downstairs there's a fully equipped kitchenette and a lovely bathroom. Everything was very clean and it offers excellent value for money. Outside, there's a lovely garden with tables and loungers where you can relax and sip the excellent wines offered by Maurizio, our helpful host.

The owner was full of useful suggestions for things to see and do around here, including across the border in Switzerland. We also loved how spotless and well organized everything was. The room is on the small side, but the lovely garden and patio with a BBQ area more than made up for it, especially in warmer weather. A terrific little guesthouse. We'd happily come back.

There’s a waterfall nearby, and the mountain hikes make this a great spot for getting outdoors. The house itself is small, clean, well kept, and has a little garden. The owners are warm and helpful. They don’t speak German, but we managed in English and Italian, and a phone translation app is another option.

We loved spending time outside, with loungers and hammocks in the garden and a lovely stone grill for cooking meat or vegetables. It’s a peaceful place surrounded by nature, right in the heart of Valchiavenna, and the price was excellent too. A real little gem.
