Albergo Dante

Albergo Dante is an amazing value for money. Although it's rated two stars because it doesn't serve lunch or dinner, there are great restaurants less than a minute away. For what you get, it's better than many three-star hotels I've stayed in, and the experience was one I'll remember with pleasure. I'm really hoping to return soon, and recommend it wholeheartedly. The location is right in the center of Bormio, with restaurants and shops steps away and the ski bus stopping right outside, so you don't need a car. Our room was warm, clean, cozy, and comfortable after a day on the slopes, with a lovely balcony and view. Breakfast was good and fresh, with quality coffee. The hosts are what make this family-run albergo so special. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. When we arrived very late, they showed us where to park right outside. Every day they helped with our skis and put our boots in the warming room, always smiling and making sure things were right. Around New Year, with restaurants booked up, manager Luca personally called more than 20 places to help us find a reservation. There was so much more as well. I hesitated at first because of the two-star rating, but I'm so glad I trusted the good reviews. Thank you, Luca and team, for such a beautiful stay! ❤️
