I had to use Google because Booking.com no longer lets you review after a cancellation. Here’s what happened. We booked a year ahead at a good price. In September they got in touch and said “the system” had made a mistake, that the price was for summer and heating wasn’t included. They wanted 1000 instead of 657, including 350 for heating for four nights. They also asked us to pay for parking, even though it said “free parking,” then tried to move the booking by a month. Support didn’t help either. We felt unwelcome, like they were unhappy with how much they’d make from us. We cancelled, and they won. Pretty sad.

The owners are as magnificent as the house, and they’re always ready to help. From the home you get a breathtaking view of both the village and the slopes, and the historic center is only a three-minute walk away. There’s everything you need: spacious bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, a living room that’s great for relaxing after a day in the mountains, and brand-new bathrooms with beautiful large showers. I think four people would be ideal, though six wouldn’t feel too cramped if you gave up the relaxation room. Hope you get to enjoy a summer or winter vacation in this lovely home.

Luisa is always available, and the apartment is clean, with recently renovated bathrooms. It’s in a great, quiet spot close to the center of Bormio. My only complaint is that the shutters can be hard to close properly. Recommended.
