Sara made us feel very welcome, and we had such a good stay that we’ll definitely return. The apartment is bright, clean, and roomy. It’s in a quiet, handy spot close to the river, with lovely walking and biking nearby. Definitely worth it!

We spent Christmas here with the family and were welcomed so warmly. The hosts were courteous and incredibly helpful, and the spacious place was well kept. It’s surrounded by nature, with the river just steps away, yet the town center and all the usual amenities are close too. The setting is peaceful and the view feels special. The kitchen is practical for heating up the good ready-made food sold in local shops and supermarkets. And every day there were fresh eggs from their chickens. A place that’ll stay in our hearts.

The view of the mountains around Casa Melide is beautiful, and we made good use of the garden barbecue area. You can set tables around the fire pit and eat by the fire. The apartment is also just a four-minute walk from an equestrian center, a farmhouse restaurant, and the riverside path. Our ground-floor place sat a few steps above the parking and garden. It had a terrace all around, with access from the front door and one bedroom. Inside, the furnishings were new and comfortable. We especially appreciated the big sofa, beds with high, comfortable mattresses, and the large shower with a strong spray. In July, despite the unusually high temperatures, we even lit the fireplace. A shoe rack would have been useful, but we just kept our dirty shoes covered on the terrace. The owners were kind and welcoming, and helped make the holiday feel like home. The location suited us well, a little outside the center, which is a flat 15-minute walk away. There’s dedicated parking, and the shopping center is seven minutes away on foot. The open-air Al Fiume apres-bike bar, run by the same owners, is only 30 meters away. It was handy for lunch, snacks, and aperitifs, and didn’t disturb us: its main entrance faces the river, while apartment guests enter from the parking lot. I’d happily choose this wonderful place again and hope to return soon.

The owner was friendly, the cat was cute, and the rooms were clean. The appliances and furniture were in good shape too, everything was just right.
