The hotel is just across the driveway from the main gondola, Bormio 2000, and only a short walk from the centre of town. I led a ski trip here in January 2025 with 49 people from the US, and booked it for the reasonable price, location, and strong reviews. It met or beat our expectations. The people running it are extremely nice, the food at breakfast and dinner was A to A+, and service was A+, including accommodating an NFL playoff game and a shot-ski party. Rooms were better than average for Europe, I’d give them an A-. I’m really reaching for a complaint: there were no washcloths. Highly recommend!

The receptionist and restaurant staff were kind, and we loved staying here. It’s dog friendly too. The hotel has been newly renovated, was clean, and served a great breakfast. A lovely place for a mountain stay.

When my husband came down with a bad stomach flu at the end of our stay, the reception staff went above and beyond. They arranged taxis to the hospital and back, then booked us an extra night so he could keep resting. I’m so grateful for their help. From the moment we checked in, everyone had been incredibly friendly and helpful. You can see how passionate the owners are about their work, and it felt good to support a family-run business. Their dogs were such a joy too, friendly and well behaved. One morning I sat in the lounge with a coffee, keeping them company while looking out at the ski slopes. What a wonderful hotel, I’d definitely come back and hope I get the chance.

The hotel is a handy base for cycling the iconic Stelvio, Mortirolo, and Gavia climbs, and there’s a separate bike room that’s locked at night. The food was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only issue was that the rooms don’t have air conditioning.

The staff had so much personality and were wonderfully welcoming, making our vacation even more incredible. They really made us feel like family. Ski access is right outside the hotel, and the food was excellent.
