A Due Passi Dall'Alta Via

A peaceful spot to enjoy being out in nature. The people here are really helpful.

The silence here was so restorative, and there weren’t any mosquitoes, which was a real bonus. Martina even called the evening before we left to sort out checkout, and since nobody else had booked, she said we could stay as long as we liked that day at no extra cost. We only managed three days at Martina and Valia's apartment. We’d first tried to book the nearby Anidra Center, but it was full, so they pointed us to this partner place. We were in a rush and let the Center handle the arrangements without knowing what to expect. Trusting them worked out beautifully: the apartment sits in nature, just as we’d hoped. It was spotless, well equipped, and had a lovely view. The owners were kind to us and to my dog, with no extra charge, and the woods were open for him to explore. There weren’t other animals around. We also really liked the shared outdoor areas, which were kept immaculate. Even with other guests there, we had plenty of privacy and felt respected. Breakfast was at Anidra Center, 4 km away, and you need a car to get there. We also had very good lunch and dinner there, joined a few activities, and got massages. It’s remote, so bring a car, and the town isn’t close. We found a few basics on arrival: sugar, salt, coffee, tea, and a packet of pasta. We’d love to come back. It’s a great option for people from Milan wanting a few restful days within a reasonable distance and at a reasonable price.

The ground-floor "lilac house" has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room of 80 square meters. It’s a wonderful setup, with all the amenities, including a sun deck with loungers and deck chairs. There’s also a barbecue area in the forest, reached by a path from the terrace. The house is just a few steps from Forcella Pass, which leads to the Aveto Valley, and is set in a fenced forest.

The owners were friendly and ready to help, and I’d happily stay here again. The accommodation is clean and pleasant, with a lovely garden and gorgeous views. Kids can play freely outside, and it works well for walks in the woods or as a base for trips to the beach.
