A lovely, peaceful place tucked into a beautiful forest.

Valentina, Corrado, and their little one made us feel welcome right away. They showed us around the house and suggested places to see nearby. It’s a very nice, extremely clean apartment with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and tidy bathrooms. There’s a barbecue outside. The name really fits the setting: all you hear is birds and the river, with plenty of peace and quiet. Just be aware that the access road is narrow and very steep, so a large car isn’t ideal. Recommended.

We ended up having to cancel after being told at 8:58 PM the night before that the accommodation we’d booked was only 14 degrees Celsius, with no way to fix it. The message came through WhatsApp, without even a phone call. We understand it wasn’t a time when heating could be used, but an electric heater or an oil-filled radiator, for cooling the room or something similar, might have resolved the problem.

A charming place, run by a friendly young couple with a baby and cats 😸. It’s relaxing and handy for getting to both the sea and the mountains.

It’s lush and well looked after, and feels quite secluded. Still, an adventurous little path gets you to the village quickly.
