Hotel Villa Olga

I couldn't believe how badly this was handled. I called the man who had checked us in at 11 for help, since no one had explained how the heating and hot water worked and there were no instructions in the room. He didn't speak English, so communication was difficult. When he came, he shouted hysterically at my mother and me even though I was polite. I asked for the hotel manager's or owner's number so I could deal with the situation properly, but he ran off, still shouting down the way. It was an awful experience. The dining room sofa was broken and couldn't be unfolded, and after that I couldn't imagine asking the same person for help again. I'd also avoid the area around Venice for an autumn holiday: it was wet and chilly, with terrible fog in my picture. Go south!

Nadia and Anthoula were so kind and helpful, and made us feel welcome in a way I'll never forget. Couldn't have imagined a better place for our holiday. It's the little details that make the difference.

The apartments were nice and clean, and the beach is right across the way. Good value for what you pay.

Such a lovely place, with a fabulous, welcoming owner. The location is great and the price was good too. I'll definitely be back next year!
