Hotel Touring

Breakfast was excellent, and so were the beach access and private umbrellas. The terrace is a nice spot for coffee, and the pool is inviting. The hotel staff were great, and dinner at Panfilo, diagonally opposite, was delicious, varied, and freshly prepared. It's actually a 5-star hotel, though it's showing its age a little. A renovation would do it good.

The rolls are very soft and chewy, and breakfast could be better quality overall. I'd like to see more fresh fruit, not just fruit from cans.

It was so quiet here, which I really appreciated. The staff were helpful, smiling, and great. Our room was cozy, and everything was 100% clean. The hotel sits right on the beach, with a beautiful pool, a bar for refreshments by the beach, and a beach that's cleaned every day. The centre is a short walk away too. Breakfast was perfect. We were very satisfied and would love to come back. Great, great place, nothing to complain about.

Direct access to the beach, on-site parking, and the pool with its adjoining children's pool are definite pluses. The hotel is showing its age, though; a renovation or modernization wouldn't hurt. Our room was quite small, and with three of us it often felt cramped, with constant shuffling to let each other pass. There's no minibar, which feels standard these days. The bathroom is small too, but has the essentials. The air conditioning broke, leaving us without it for two days while temperatures hit 36 degrees Celsius (97 degrees Fahrenheit) daily. That shouldn't happen, but it does show how many years have passed. The bar isn't very inviting either. Air conditioning, or at least a fan, would make a real difference, since you sweat out the liters of water you've just had. Service was OK for a 3-star hotel. Everyone was friendly and tried their best. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, but no more than that. Looking at the pictures here, it seems they paid more attention to looks and detail 8-9 years ago. A shame that's no longer the case.
