Belvedere BB

We come to beautiful Bosa often as tourists, but this was our first really disappointing stay. The owner greeted us with a cigarette in her mouth, then told us as soon as we entered the tiny room that the TV didn't work. In the bathroom, the soap was just soapy water, the towel rack was loose, and there was no hairdryer until we asked for one. The remote for the heat pump/air conditioning was missing, and there wasn't a warm blanket. The double bed had two single mattresses at different heights, pushed together with a gap between them. The street itself was quiet, but the owner's dog barked often. Early in the morning, she would talk loudly on her phone with speakerphone on, right outside our door. We politely asked her to lower her voice. When we left, she said she lives in the house and can talk on the phone whenever she needs to, and that we shouldn't tell her what to do in her own home. We argued for a few minutes. I said maybe she shouldn't be doing this work if she doesn't know how to treat guests well, and she then said she was suing us. Definitely avoid it.
